STEP 1 OF 4

Choose your format

Pick the format first; roster size and bracket structure will be set automatically from here.

6v6

SIXES

The TF2 competitive standard. RGL map pool, 5CP and KOTH configs.

2v2

ULTIDUO

Soldier + Medic duel. 4 players, dedicated map pool, official UGC ruleset.

9v9

HIGHLANDER

All 9 classes in play at once. The full TF2 experience, no role overlap.

4v4

Mid-size compromise between Sixes and Ultiduo. Half the lobby, twice the stakes.

Title *

3 - 80 characters. Make it memorable.

Description (optional)

Plain text or Markdown. Max 2000 characters.

Roster size per team (automatic)

SIXES ceiling: 9 players per team

Each TF2 format has a hard per-team ceiling (Sixes 9, Ultiduo 3, Highlander 13, 4v4 6). The bracket is built around this so every team has the right number of players to field a full match.

STEP 2 OF 4

Set your bracket size

Max teams is the hard ceiling - the tournament won't open registration past it. Min teams is the floor below which we cancel.

Max teams *

2 - 64 teams. Larger brackets take longer to run.

Min teams

Tournament won't start below this. Default 2.

Competition format

Single Elimination

One loss and you're out. Fastest format.

Swiss

Everyone plays each round. Pairings use score groups and avoid rematches.

How long does the tournament run?

Single Day

All matches finish in one session. Up to ~7 matches per team.

Spreads Over Days

Pick 2-7 days and a matches-per-day budget. Good for big brackets or uneven pacing.

With 8 teams in single-elim: 7 matches total, runs in 1 day (~3 matches/day).

STEP 3 OF 4

Set start time and servers

We provision servers 30 minutes before kickoff, reuse them all day, and shut them down once every match has reported in.

Start time *

Your local timezone. Stored UTC. Must be at least 5 minutes in the future.

Check-in window (min)

Default 30. Players not checked-in by this point are auto-kicked before the match begins.

Server locations

Pick at least one. We provision roughly 1 server per 4 matches/day for each region, and reuse the same servers all day long.
